Hat Yai To Donsak

Featured Replies

Evening

I'd like to catch the direct bus fron Hat Yai to Donsak next week without arsing around in Surat Thani. Does anyone have any tips, especially easy directions from the centre of HY to the bus station? I'm also trying to get a night bus to get an early ferry back to Samui the next day.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Ian

to get to tbe busstation-like about anywhere in Thaild-you dont need to know directions-just a litttle frase of Thai (if even that) satanee konsong is that magic word-tell it too any of the 100s of tuktukdrivers and off you go.

This ''station transport'' is quite far out of the centre-there may be a fair chance this bus then returns to centre and does the main pick-ips there, but I am not 100% sure. Also I really doubt there would be a direct bus to DS-but you can get off at the sideroad. Most decent travelguidebooks in fact have this info.

Also: 99,99% of those not knowing all that do the most easy thing; walk into any HY travel-agent and book a seat in a direct minivan. or do that the night before at where they stay-for an even easier pick=up

Ther is a bus from Hat Yai to Samui, but it is a day bus, leaving Hat Yai in the morning.

There are 2 morning bus from the Hat Yai bus station to Donsak (and Samui), check for schedule because I don't remember exactly, but I think at 8 am and 10 am or 9 and 11 :)
