How Much Costs For Moving To Bangkok From Pattaya With Small Household?

Hey guys,

a friend of mine wants to move back to bangkok and doesn´t know how much it would cost him to get his stuff brought tdo bkk.

its just opffice supplies, pc, monitor, desk, seat, clothes, kitchen/cooking material and other personal stuff.

Not that much at all, but he got no idea how much it would cost. he is, like me, still looking for an apartment in bangkok and cant tell the exact area, but an estimate would help out.

How should it be done? are there companies that do it for such a small household, are they too expensive or are there other ways?

He has two options.

Hire a pick up truck from a car rental company and drive to Bkk himself, drop off his stuff and then take the truck back to Pattaya.

I have no idea of the cost of hiring a pick up truck, shouldnt be more than 2,500 baht per day, lets say another 600 baht for gas.

Option two, all over the place he will see signs written in Thai, that say this,

รถรับจ้าง, rot rap jaang, followed by a phone number.

Which means truck for hire, with driver.

He shouldnt even need a 6 wheeler, a 4 wheeler will do.

Give these guys a call and ask them how much, I wouldnt pay more than 4,000 baht.
