Uk Citizen Entering Thailand Twice Do I Need A Visa?

Featured Replies

Hi I am going to Thailand in March this year and will be staying for 1 night before I cross the Cambodian border, then 30 days later I will be re-entering Thailand via Loas for 2 1/2 weeks before I fly to Australia. Do I need a visa to do this and if so what sort?

Thanks very much

Verity Burrows (UK)

Yes you will need a Visa I think you can get a double Entry tourist Visa that should cover you.

You will only get 30 days on arrival by Air if you do not have a Visa. If you come back to Thailand Via a land crossing you will only get 15 days.

So that is no good to you. If you are in the UK now Hull is your best bet Just give them a phone call I do believe the tourist visa is still Free at the moment

No doubt Others on here will give you The requirements

You may not get on flight without outbound ticket within 30 days on trip to Bangkok so a visa for entry should be obtained - a second visa for return should also be obtained either before trip or in Cambodia as land crossing would only be 15 days. As said visas are free from Embassy in London, but some honorary Consulate charge processing fees in the UK (and other places) so be aware free may not be that free.

Information in this thread indicates that Liverpool consulate are issuing double entry tourist visas for free (excluding return postage), so you may wish to explore this option.
