Usually stay at C&N, but just emailed them and it's full when I go (Saturday for 10 days).

Any other suggestions would be appreciated, on a tight budget though as not been a good time work-wise!

Not sure, but if so then maybe the email I just received telling me they are full was a good thing!

I can recommend Paripas Mansion, a family runned hotel in the same area, but much more quiet location. They also have a small pool. I stayed there many times before I build house in Phuket. This is a hotel I can recommend my best friends, if they want to stay in a budget hotel. I friend of mine are returning there for the 3rd time in March.
