*** I do NOT know the answer to this one. It was emailled to me by my mother - who is also baffled. If you can work it out - please post your answer and how you got the answer. Thanks, Peter.

Please look at the math below:

They say only people with an IQ with 120 and over are able to figure this out.

If:

2 + 3 = 10

7 + 2 = 63

6 + 5 = 66

8 + 4 = 96

Then:

9 + 7 = ????

144

Leave it to the other egg heads to work out how I got to the answer. I won't spoil everyone's fun.

144 is correct. Just add up the numbers e.g. 2 + 3, then multiply the result by the first number.

I figured it out in 30 seconds.

My son, 9 years old, figured it out in 60 seconds (with no help).

My wife of 20 years (Thai) figured it out in 90 seconds (with no help)...

(no disrespect to her, she has been working all day).

There are better tests to download from mensa.com.
