Beach Rd Warning

Hello everyone and happy new year , just a warning about the police taking bikes parked on beach road , even if they are legally parked they will still take the bike load it on the pickup and take them around the back of pattaya thai for people to collect .total cost 500bht police and taxi . When i asked why they took my bike because it was not parked in front of any lines painted on the kerb and the guy at the front of the Amari said ok and i was only in there for one hour , they told me you must keep a eye on your bike at all times .

same happened to me on beach rd about december time , cops had 2 large vans loading all bikes into them, i was lucky and snatched mine back in time , my wife told me it was because the king was in town and the cops wanted to keep all roads clear . me thinks its just another money spinner for the local police chiefs
