Is This The Land Of Smile And Good Heart

Featured Replies

i was in phuket,,patong on the day of the tsunami and saw the devistaiton and agony that it caused,,as time went on i returned in the april to see if things had changed,,to my surprise this were starting to look normal,,then after one yr,,you would never have known this tragedy had happened,,all payed for by forlang aid

i now read about the haiti earhtquake and am saddened that the pm said he would not send money as they will only buy food,so has agreed to send some rice inwhich he has billions of tons stock piled to inflate the price,,also i think he pledged $100.000,,is he serious or is this the wish of the people,,think its a very selfish race,,when they relied on aid to the tune of billions of bt to rebuild phuket, krabi and phi phi

do hope i am wrong,,but think these people have no heart and only smile when the bt is in there pocket,,any thoughts

Yes. No. Maybe. Does it matter ? Having a bad day? Trolling? Feeling righteous? Debating the hidden meanings of Thai society? And having to do just what with Chiang Mai ?

Check out Craigslist Thailand and their rant section. Or any bar with old salty/ smokey expats late at night; you'll get what you're looking for.
