Is anyone up date with the import duties for a 35ft used catameran? last i heard it was vat only, has this changed?

According to section 12 of the customs tariff decree B.E. 2530 (No. 1) sailboats, with or without auxiliary motor under the tariff heading 89.03 are exempted from customs import duty.

thanks for that thats good news, wonder why they dont charge? pretty sure 7% vat is payable

7% VAT only on the last boat I imported.
