Residence Registration

Featured Replies

Hi All , my question is how do i get a residece document from Immigration ,

Currently my wife and i are useing her mothers address as our resident address as we only live 3 klms away but rent from a local woman who never put my name on the house book.

All my mail goes to the family house address eg Bank statements , ubc etc would that be enough to get an immigration cert of residence.

Thanks in advance for replys.nationlogo.jpg

Immigration will asume you live at the same address where your wife is registered. If you have bank statements etc with that your name on that adress it will be enough.

Thanks for that Mario, that will save me a lot of grieff

I hope for you that this will work. But the Imm Police might ask the "leasers list" filed by your wifes family and copies of the housebook in which her family is listed as owner, not as user. Nongkhai Immigration is very strict. Sometimes they want to see the housebook itself. Good luck !

If not, you can try to get a letter from your enbassy confirming your residence.
