Gday :D

I'm 33 years old & i've been seeing my 28 year old Thai girlfriend for around 3 years,we lived together in Phuket for the 1 st year of our relationship, but the past 2 years i've spent time working in Australia. I've been back 5 times since & spent around 7 months time over there in Thailand when she's on holidays from work(School teacher)

My question is- Its looking like i'll be unable to make it back over there from March 15th for the 6 weeks school holidays,so what visa would be best for her to apply for to Australia?

Would it be easier for her to do an independent Visitors Visa with out including me??

She's living with her parents now, after graduating from Uni,she worked in BKK as computer programer & is now a school teacher with no children!! She has Money in the bank but unsure how much at the moment. I was just thinking would it be easier for her doing visa alone rather than complicating things including me?? We've no proof of living together only 3 years of photo's & 2 years of emails. Oh maybe some dual flight bookings on email confirmation from the last 5 trips but no hotel bookings or apartment receipts :D

Thank you for any information that i receive regarding my topic title :)

Tourist visa.....

Sub class 676

She can do it on her own if she has sufficient funds and a reason to return such as a letter from her employer stating that she has a job to return to or property ownership.

If she doesnt have enough funds then she can list you as an Additional funds provider on the application and you need to show 6 months of payslips or your income tax return notice.

IMHO the second option is the better as it shows that there is someone here she knows and that tells them that she is less likely to default on the visa. You also dont need to prove relationship status.....just show that you actually know each other....photos, letters etc as evidence.
