ive been living in bangkok for a long time and was thinking about buying an condo here, i was just wondering where would be a good place to look for advertised condos, and also if i could get a mortage on a condo? i dont have a work permit, but i would be able to put down say 20%, and i have regular income.im english and im currently on a student visa, i know different rules apply to different companys, some say u need a work permit,others dont care, any information on this topic would be most welcome, thanks  paul

To buy a condo in Bangkok, as a non thai, you normally need to pay cash.

But, certain companies will let you buy with a deposit, repaying the remainder of the amount over a 1-2 year period.
