There is no link. Its a documentary well worth watching for anyone interested.

I've not seen the show but the Thai were pretty well involved in the "Vietnam" War, especially in Laos where at a high point there were approximately 20,000 Thai "volunteers" fighting in several areas, PDJ, Pakse, Xieng Lom, this between 1971-'74. In addition, there were Thai units in Vietnam, including one division of infantry.
