I see that I can deposit cash at Kasikorn cash deposit ATM machines. Has anyone does this is it secure? are the funds credited to the account immediately and available for withdrawal?

Yes, I done it many times. The funds show up immediately when I update my bank book. I've never tried to withdraw everything so I don't know for sure if they are all available.

I have used these machines several times then made a transfer right after and it has worked immediately.

I am thinking of asking a trusted friend to help me do this but for the life of me cannot remember if an ATM pin is required to complete the transaction.

My memory tells me no??

Correct, they will only need to know your account number to make the deposit.
