Collecting Money For Thaksin

If there is a civil war,the Bangkok elite will be stripped of their assets,as many of them have done a Thaksin and stolen the dosh.

While I'd rather not see a civil war whilst living here, such an outcome would be desirable. I agree with your view here. They're filthy rich and their gains and their power are just as ill-begotten as that of Mr T.

If it is a non-violent civil war then i would be all for wealth distribution, maybe the country would benefit from the vultures of the thai society

eat rats,bugs,dogs,green stuff in nature,

The young once go Bangkok and earn 100 or 200 bath a day and send the most back home to their family .

Well done - contributions are always welcome. :) Hope they collect 76B worth of donations for Khun T. :D

Clearly these villagers are the perfect source for a billionaire to regain billions.

They obviously have plenty so they should be very willing to part with a large part of that excess in order to help a nearly starving man.

By the way.

Jingthing is actually Hitting that nail with the hammer, and he do not "miss" much!

Thank you for your post above this one that indicates Jingthing's concerns are the right ones.

I've also seen how things work in Roi-Et and it's very similar as to how you describe and how Jingthing wonders about.

from what i can see first hand in my area, talking to the reds about "possible past faults" of their leader is a "tabu"(one of the many in this country), they will categorically refuse to talk about their responsabilities, every now and then a few locals dare to wear a yellow shirt they get lots of "big mouths" going on, now, i don't like either of them but that doesn't really matter, just reporting what i see in my neighbourood....

You mean that poster isn't even in Thailand?

But then, he says following that post that he keeps his money in Thailand?

I don't understand that.

^nah I'd rather keep my dosh, safe/sound in Thailand. :D

I suspect this is more a comment, about the relative strength of the Thai economy and currency, compared to what remains of the UK after a dozen years of socialist-leadership. :D:)

Here is the latest from the coconut wire. In the village, rumors abound that when HE returns everyone will get one million baht. Crazy, but true....HE was good at one thing, preying on the masses....especially their minds....

Sounds familiar. Remember Mao's "cultural" revolution? The experienced doctors were sent to the sticks to work the fields by hands and when you went to the doctor you got a 16 year old medical student. Happy days are here again ...

Great idea - lets start with Thaksin, Chalerm, Chavolit. They're loaded. I can just see you explining this to the Chalerm (the PM in waiting should the reds have theri way) family. Does the phrase "bullet in the head" come to mnd? :)

:)

If you say so. :D

Anyways if they want to donate the little dosh they have to Khun T then so be it, but I think at the end of the day it wont be much and prob better use for the little guy. I think more a gesture of support than anything else.

Reminds me of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos showing videos of friends bringing donations of food to them. :)

Ohh I remember that.......what is this world coming to?

As someone said, if Mr thaksin was any sort of fellow he would immediately stop this sort of thing from happening, surely he isnt going to rob these people again.
