gouda
hi currently using GPRS via bluetooth to access the internet (AIS sim) as am out in the middle of nowhere... but it is really slow and i have put up with it long enough and it is getting really bad now so have decided to bite the bullet and go for an edge phone I know there has been various threads on this but i can't really trawl through them with this slow connection so sorry if the answer is there already but could somebody suggest a phone around 5000B, with a decent camera and not too bulky. Not looking for a top model just a reliable one. I checked out the nokia 3110 classic locally around 3500B but would like something a bit slimmer if possible. many thanks
policot
Hello, I use a GPRS -Edge modem Samba 75 with Dtac simnet, very fast connection, and also cheap: 200THB for 100 hours, actual promotion..
Gary A
I have a Nokia 5130 XpressMusic that works fine. It is also a good music player. The camera is only 2.0 megapixel but the pictures are quite good. It is fairly slim and light. up-country_sinclair
What kind of download speeds are you getting?
Gary A
I no longer use EDGE. I now use CAT EVDO. EDGE is not that fast but I got along with it for a year or so until CAT put in a tower near me. In this area, Dtac was usually better than AIS. I used both.
mitebbots
What's the easiest/best service for a tourist that wants to have internet as they travel around remote areas of Thailand? It does not have to be the fastest, just best coverage and ease of refills.
