March 5, 201016 yr This airline appears to be developing quite quickly and will possibly challenge more established Middle Eastern airlines in the future. Has anyone used them from Bangkok and if so what were your impressions?
March 5, 201016 yr Oman Air has been around for many uears. I used to work in Oman and used them for many flights including to BKK. I've not flown on them for a couple of years though. It is (was) an OK airline with OK service. Nothing special, but nothing particularly bad about it either.
March 5, 201016 yr My daughter flew Oman Air from Bangkok to Frankfurt. Mixed reviews - on the plus side, good connection in Muscat (just 2 hours either way), good food, spacious seats (economy) with own monitor, almost unbeatable price (THB 25,800 all in) - minus, service not consistent, departure from Bangkok H06:40 which makes it a really long day.
March 6, 201016 yr I have used them twice lately and would say they are now on a par with emirates etihad and gulf air...as stated the departure time from BKK is early meaning you have to be at the airport at 4 ish other than that i thought they where great value in the present climate..$$$!!
