simple question, i have searched extensively on here already, not found the answer....

does the length of stay for a tourist visa application bear any relevance to the decision of the ECO.... for instance my gf has applied for a 3 month visit, after knowing me for 5 months and actually being with me 4 weeks. she has an internet cafe business so she can afford the time off work, but i wonder if she was only staying for 6 weeks in the uk would the ECO be more likely to say yes.....?

i know that they look as the application as a whole, and not on one single factor.... but im just trying to give my first application as strong as possible,

As you say, they will look at the application as a whole; it largely depends on the purpose of the visit and her circumstances in Thailand..

Three months is a long time to leave a business unattended. I would suggest that she or you explains what will be happening to her business while she is away for so long.
