FC Phuket recorded a much needed win on Saturday but the result was overshadowed by the shock heart attack suffered by Ivory Coast midfielder Camara Ahmed midway through the second half. He was rushed to hospital where doctors were able to resuscitate him before he lapsed into a coma. At the last update, Camara's condition was described as stable and doctors were concerned about him contracting any illnesses in his weakened state.

The thoughts of all FC Phuket fans go to him and his family and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

Such a shame to see Camara Ahmed have to be taken to hospital...best wishes to him.

It was a great game though, I hope to make it down more often!

Yes it was a good game despite the shocking news about Camara. Still no real change to his condition at the moment.

It's usually a great occasion at Surakul and for such a little sum of money you can't go wrong. You can also get replica shirts inside the ground and at the club shop outside.

SSK - see you on November 13/14

This Saturday will see FC Phuket line up for their 5th playoff match and their second home game follwoing the 1-0 home win against Chai Nat FC on October 30th, a day sadly remembered for the heart attack suffered by Camara Ahmed who is recovering in hospital.

FC Phuket are 3rd in the group with one win and three draws.

This week's match sees the Division 2 champions take on Loei City FC with the match kicking off at 6pm. Tickets are the usual price and hopefully there will be a similar size crowd to the last game if not more.

Please turn out to support your local side - FC Phuket Needs You!

See you at Surakul Stadium on Saturday.

FC Phuket return to action at Surakul Stadium this Sunday against Rayong in what is a must-win fixture. The Southern Sea Kirin lost 3-1 in their last outing against Chai Nat FC and now find themselves third in their playoff group behind Chai Nat and Rayong.

A win at home will move FC Phuket back into the top two and keep them on course for a place in Division 1 next season. Kick off is at 6pm and tickets are priced as per usual. Refreshments allowed into the stadium as normal but please no glass bottles.

Please come out and support the team as this could well prove to be the key fixture.

See you on Sunday

FC Phuket recorded a vital 2-0 win against Rayong FC at Surakul Stadium last night courtesy of a brace from Ivory Coast star Diarra Ali, the first a penalty, the second a cute finish to round off a great team move.

Going into the game knowing that they needed to win, FC Phuket never gave the visitors a sniff and the home side emerged as comfortable wins thanks to excellent performances from Nene Bi, Diarra, Rapeepan and Thawin Butrasongbat.

One point in their final match on December 25 will rubber stamp promotion and a win might see them qualify for the National championship match.

Well played lads, Division 1 here we come!

FC Phuket will play division one football next season after topping their group thanks to a 2-0 win against Samut Prakan. The SSK were unable to claim the nationl division 2 title after slumping to a 1-0 defeat to Burinam shortly after Xmas.

When the season starts in March FC Phuket will have to mke do without the services of coach Arjan, stars Ali Diarra and Nene Bi plus Adisak and one other. Arjan and Diarra will return to Muang Thong United while Adisak will join Burinam.

The search is now on to find new players ahead of FC Phuket's maiden division one campaign.
