Could members please post any travel info about the BTS ,MRT,Trains, buses, from the major terminals,

And any traffic Info about the main routes in and out of Bangkok ,

Like to and from Rangsit

Ps last year i was stuck at Victory for ages ,,

Last time people were stuck in the pubs for ten days, they loved it.

Kind of depends on where you are in the the Rangsit area. I'm pretty far out on Hwy 305, so if I needed to go downtown, I'd:

-- head down past Klong 5 and take the Eastern Ring Road, Hwy 9, down past the Lam Luk Kha road then take the new cutoff to that crosses Ramintra to join up with the Ramintra-Atnnaron Expressway.

-- get off at Sukumvit Soi 50 and park at the Tesco-Lotus there, free for three (3) hours, then baht 50/hour thereafter.

-- take the BTS Skytrain into town, do your business, then reverse the process to get back north.
