This morning I was on Hwy 24 in Surin for about an hour. This is the route 'the Reds' will take to meet at their rendezvous in Khorat before storming Bangkok, coming from Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon.

As a civic duty I photographed ALL of the hordes I saw wearing red clothing and heading west.

They were moving too fast to tell for sure if they were carrying weapons.

If this hourly rate keeps up, there will up to another 50 heading that way by Sunday.

I just know I'm going to get flamed for being sensationalistic.

They are pacing themselves mate - today is just like a call to prayer - to join in tomorrow and especially Sunday.

If they are trying to motivate the local BKK red population base me thinks besides a few well paid taxi and motorbikes, most regular salaried people will give the hot air a miss en masse. Being smart, I would think that for many of them this infusion of upcountry reds presents a good business opportunity - to keep the forces supplied.
