A FEW OF MY FRIENDS HAVE BEEN WARNED OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS NOT TO PARK THEIR CARS OR M/CYCLES ON THE ROAD IN AO-NANG WHERE THE TAXIS LIKE TO PARK,THIS MORNING THE SAME HAPPENED TO ME,BUT I IGNORED THE IMPLIED TREAT. ON MY RETURN AFTER 30 MIN'S, FOUND MY CAR HAD ACQUIRED A FEW MARKS,INFORMED THE (EXCUSE FOR) POLICE, WHO ASSURED ME THE TAXI DRIVERS WOULD NOT HAD DONE THIS. DO YOU THINK THE AO-NANG TAXI OPERATORS ARE COPYING THEIR COUSINS IN PATONG

if you were actually told not to park there and you did, then that's your bad. a few scratches on the car better than being attacked with a wooden umbrella stake.

More frustrating for me in Ao Nang is how they allow the motorbikes to take the car parking spots. There are designated spots for the bikes, but people still take the limited car spots for their bikes.

P.S. a little nettiquette, turn your cap locks off, capital letters means you are yelling. Thanks !!
