Transfer Non Imm O Visa And Extention To New Passport

I have obtained 365 days Extension (based on Non Imm O / marriage) with multiple entry from Pathum Thani Immigration Office.

As my passport has only 32 pages it has just a few pages left and I need to ask my Embassy in Bangkok for a new passport.

However to transfer the Extension to the new passport I was advised by Pathum Thani Immigration Office that only head office at Chaengwattana head office could do so.

Has anybody experience with such procedure?

Which department/division at Chaengwattana head office is in charge of this?

Any immigration office can this, but you have to do it a your own regional office. process is to make a copy of your old and new passport and fill in a form. It is free and doesn't take long.
