It's great until you get to the check out and find they don't give out free shopping bags and you have to buy them at 12 baht each. Savings lost!!

yep! but only for people who shop for less than a hundred Baht :)

Incorrect, irrespective of how much you spend no free plastic bags are given out.

Makro does not hand out plastic bags as does Tesco/Lotus....Big C.....Foodland......Carrefour and the list goes on.

I think that Naam meant that by spending more than 100 Baht, you will probably save the cost of the 12 Baht plastic bag :D

Incidently, if they are 12 Baht each, I assume that they are not the flimsy type and can be used over and over?
