what's the easiest way to escape Koh Phangan to Phuket ??

Go to a travel agent and buy a boat/bus ticket. The whole trip will probably take around 8 hours dropping you at the bus station in Phuket Town.

Just hope you don't have to do the trip in a minivan coz it may crunch a few vertebrae. Ouch!

Fly Samui-Phuket by Bangkok Airways??

Easiest is fly Samui-Phuket. second easiest is hire a driver to pick you up from the pier in Surat and drive you there directly. Several local expats on Koh P use a guy they all swear by. Cuts hours off the minivan trip. Third easiest is (and most difficult) is the minivan route.
