Are there ever water shortages in Don Chan area of Chiang Mai?

Bump time. No.

Not really no. During Songkran people on city water may experience low pressure or even outages during the day, but that's just par for the course I suppose.

In the Don Chai area I'm not even sure if you'd be on city water to be honest. (Depending on which side you are; if you're in one of the gated communities then most likely no; if you're in the sois in the area between the railway station and Don Chan then maybe you are on city water.

There are dire warnings about water shortages every year, but we always seem to muddle through to the next rainy season!

If there was thats why we have Chang and Sang Som.

San Kamphaeng area does... or at least the wells get very very low, and they use the water sparingly.

In Chiang Mai, it is mostly the farmers who get their water cut first, but there is a lot of time warnings before that happens... Public water is not usually effected, but I have a 10,000 litre water supply that has never gone dry

I have 120,000 ltr. storage and I ran out once in 1998 I believe, this is in Mae Ai. Haven't lived in that house for almost 6 years now and nobody has done any water management at that house since.
