Gang Warfare Erupts After Pattaya International Music Festival

PATTAYA:-- fter the final night of the Pattaya International Music Festival on Sunday, March 21, as so often happens after such events, there was an incidence of gang warfare between two teenage gangs, involving guns, that resulted in one fatality and three other injuries. Police are currently conducting further investigations into the incident.

Pattaya, 22 March, 2010: In the early morning, today, following the Pattaya International Music Festival, gang warfare erupted under highway bridge no.7 on the Sukhumvit Road, some 50m before the PTT petrol station, Naklua, between two rival teenage motorcycle gangs, involving one gang being shot with firearms.

Typical teenage gangs....

all ass,no class !!

Very sad to see such very young people killed and injured.

They really don't have the maturity to have any idea what they are doing or getting themselves into.

And they will not be any more mature in twenty years - those who live that long.

No parental guidance, no pedagogic guidance, no societal guidance from film, television or newspapers.

While Thai society continues down the road it is currently following, this will become more and more frequent.

Pattaya IMC Gunman & Gang Successfully Apprehended

PATTAYA:-- The teenage gunman and the majority of his gang who killed a rival gang member and injured several others on the final day of the Pattaya International Music Festival (PIMC), discovered to have been ya-ba users, have now been arrested, with a manhunt in place for the remaining gang members who escaped.
