I have been in Thailand for 14 months on a non imm "O" I need to get a new visa shortly and want to know the best place for this.

I am 37,single,no Thai kids but do hold a lease agreement for a shop house.

I have been given so many different stories and advice that it has come to the point that I am completely confused,even so called visa shops give totally different advice.

Some say Philippines,some say Malaysia,some say Cambodia but others say that they will not do this now.

Is there anyone on this forum who has had recent 1st hand experience in succesfully obtaining this type of visa and what documentation is required.

Penang if you had the right paperwork! But you're not really entitled to a Non-imm O just for renting a shop house.....so I'd guess here in Asia you'd struggle to get more than a single if that (however Aus, US or the UK would probably accommodate you).

I think you need to get married or have some kids....or invest loads of money?
