Travel To Bangkok

Featured Replies

I am booked on the 31st March to arrive in BKK on the 1st April late evening.

is it reasonably safe to spend 2 nights at Nana Hotel or woud it be wiser to travel diirectly from the airport to Pattaya?

also, are there any taxi meters at the airport (that ones that use their meter) to go either to BKK or to Pattaya?

thank you

Personally I would not risk it anything can happen on a moments notice. As for Taxi's that should be no problem..

Keep your money belt locked at all times. :)

Was in BKK 28th, bumped into a load of red shirt's, they all seemed good hearted, and in good humour. Even with my Thai wife, who had a yellow and black top on. She dosent suport any one, she had got the top the day before, because she liked it. She did s-it her pant's though, when she realised her mistake. So if that didnt cause a problem Soi Nana, should be ok. Have a good trip.

Should not be a problem, I have driven to BKK 3 times in the last week from Pattaya no difference, Red Shirts that have been seen are friendly' the most dangerous weapon they possess are red 'clappy hands'. Yes there are metered Taxi's expect to pay 900 baht, depending on your arrival time there is a bus at airport that runs every 2 hrs to Jomtien direct for 125baht and very comfortable, last Bus departs Airport at 8PM.

get a taxi straight to pattaya , you will allways get a hotel no matter what time you arrive. go to ground floor at airport , walk out onto the road and hail a taxi there, much cheaper than getting one upstairs.
