Recommended Posts

For those ThaiVisa members and/or spouses who ship and/or do business/selling*** with/to Eastern European countries I submit a warning, received by shipping agents who warn for (severe) delays in the Eastern European Postal Services due to the Moscow Bombings on Monday March 29th, 2010:

the text is as follows:

Dear Customers,

As advised by the postal administration of the Russian Federation, due to problems in customs clearance, mail delivery services (including Speedpost) in the country are subject to delay until further notice.

As mails for the destination countries listed above are sent in postal transfer via the Russian Federation, mail delivery services (including Speedpost) in these countries are also subject to delay until further notice. Any inconvenience caused is much regretted.

Destination Countries

Armenia

Latvia

Montenegro

Tajikistan

Estonia

Lithuania

Romania

Turkmenistan

Kazakhstan

Macedonia

Serbia

Ukraine

Kyrgyzstan

Moldova

Slovak Republic

Uzbekistan

*************************

*** Also for those who are selling products via eBay and/or other web portals.

Personally, I would advise to stop selling/shipping for the time being.
