camerata Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Congratulations, Camerata. Thanks. And now, a month later, I've finally finished the whole process... I think. The last stop was the district office, to get on a tabien baan, and they are really meticulous there. They pointed out an obscure error in both my Alien's Book and Residence Certificate that no one had noticed before. Later that morning I ended up on the 6th floor of the Immigration building at the Aliens Registration section and their reaction to the error was: "Ha ha ha... this is Thailand. Don't be so serious! No need to change anything! Would you like to have lunch with us?" I have to say that in Bangkok the officials I dealt with were all polite, helpful, and generally friendly throughout the whole process. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
