Can anyone advise where I can buy 3x shirts trousers etc. I'd prefer ready made as apposed to tailor made. Of if no option can you recommend a good tailor? Is there a Central dept store and do you know if they can help.

just up the road from kad son kaew shopping mall, so you will find something for sure in that area.

Its called 'export shop' or something similar.

71 export has some great stuff in your size. It is by far the best clothing store that I have seen for big guys in Chiang Mai.

Called Dr Zu. Depending on the political situation, if your going through BKK, Dr Zu also has a branch in the MBK centre (or is that NBK?). The shop is much bigger than the on in C. Mai, and has a much greater range of stock.

High quality at a low price. well worth it.
