Free Shuttle Bus At New Immigration Office

Featured Replies

Just came back from the new immigration office and was surprised to find out they now have a free shuttle bus service around the complex. If you are coming from Chaengwattana Road you would get off at the bus stop near CAT center and and wait at the entrance to the road going into the complex. There will be a white modern air conditioned shuttle bus that says to immigration. You may have to wait 5 to 10 minutes.

Actually that has been in operation since before Immigration even moved there. It is a long/hot walk if you don't use it and have used public transport only to the Soi entry.

motorcy is THB20 to the immigration from the main road

I'm driving, is the Immigration Office signposted from the road? and in English?

If you come from airport road you pass Thai Post/TOT and then CAT and it directly after CAT. There is a huge green "Government Office Complex" sign hung from an overhead walkway before you get there. If coming from the Chiang Watanna Expressway you do U-Turn just after passing CAT. CAT has huge red letters over front entry.

Immigration is in the huge last building on right of Soi and at the South-East corner of entry level. Just inside the South Entrance (go to end of soi and turn right to entry on that side).
