The Markland

Featured Replies

Can I ask

Is this place ok?

I am thinking about taking a room for a month.

By ok, I mean clean and quiet with air and decent cable TV.

thx

Jack

Note to Jack

Never stay at the Markland if your not sure

:)

I know lots of renters and owners there and they are all pretty happy with the place.

Check on the fire hose's, last time I was there the one's that were in place most were not conected, god help if there was a fire.

I have stayed at The Markland. I would stay their again.

I would also consider buying a condo their.

Stayed there many times over the years and very good. :D

Usually fairly quiet unless you get a weekend when its full of 10 million or so Chinese hitting the buffet at the same time on a Sunday morning...take cover...food everywhere....but still OK..

Good location, big rooms, reasonable rates (used to be 800 bt /night) and great views from roof top restaurant/breakfast areas...and a nice wee swimmimg pool. :)

I've stayed there on several occasions. Its a bit tired looking these days but most hotels at the prices they charge are the same.

Clean enough - I'd stay there again

thx a lot guys

The North side view is obstructed by the new Hilton. There is some construction next to the south side. The south side is very hot--due to direct sun exposure.

You are a bit arse for elbow, the new Hilton is on top of the Central Mall, well south of Markland, north of Markland is the new Holiday Inn. Trust this clarifies!

note to Jack; continue NOT to go to pattaya

what a dump

When i have visited Markland in the past the lifts are really ancient and slow. A friend renting there once complained it was infested with ants too. Much better options around town now. Back of the Avenue, VT6 etc
