April 18, 201016 yr The missus has finally cut down the eucalyptus trees dotting our ponds and farm and agrees 100% with their final removal. Could anyone tell me which chemicals or materials are best for destroying the roots? Thanking anyone in advance.
April 18, 201016 yr If you want a non environmentally friendly result use 'Round Up' or straight diesel on the stump. Once you have poured diesel into the stump leave it a few weeks and do again until the wood is saturated. Start a fire in the stump and let it eat downwards. It works!
April 18, 201016 yr Just finished doing 8 rai used a backhoe. Works great and no chemical after effects.
April 18, 201016 yr Just finished doing 8 rai used a backhoe. Works great and no chemical after effects. Definitely the best way. Try to cut up the pieces immediately before the wood (roots) gets dry it will cut very easily and be a great resource and help pay for the backhoe. If you let it dry it will get as hard as steel and only be good for pop art or fish cover in the bottom of a lake. Choke Dee
