THAI Starts Flights to Europe

BANGKOK: -- Piyasvasti Amranand, President, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, announced that THAI has resumed a number fights to Europe after cancellations due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland last week .

With the airspace opening up today in various countries and cities across Europe, THAI was able to arrange for some regular flight operations to and from Europe as well as special flights for stranded passengers in Thailand and destinations across Europe. Customers can visit THAI website at www.thaiairways.com for listing of latest confirmed flights to and from Europe and Thailand.

Passengers may call the THAI Contact Center in Bangkok to check flight information and make reservations at 02-356-1111 (24 hours), fax. 02-356-2222, Email: contact@service . thaiairways . com , to re-book travel for passengers need to change flight routing.

The airline today also opened a temporary help center, the THAI Volcanic Help Center (from 21-30 April, M-F, from 0800-1700hrs) at +66-02-545-3000 , specifically for passenger whose flights have been cancelled.

The Company will waive all fees for changing flight route or issuance of a new ticket to and from Europe to Thailand for THAI ticket holders. Passengers are advised that the listing of passengers for travel is based on reservation sequence.
