So, where is a good cheap hotel to stay on the beach? I have seen the prices have doubled since the last time. I don't ride motorbikes, so need somewhere with baht bus or taxi.

Patsy there are some good cheap places in Ban rak, some bars, a good selectio of thai & farang food places, motobike taxi stand at the Big Buddha pier & songteaws coming through every 30 mins or so.

How cheap do you want?
