Does Thai go there as well as Air Mada? What are the fares like? And the country?

I do know that Air Mada offers 50% off domestic flights if you fly in with them. One alternative -- the 'bush taxi' -- doesn't really bear thinking about, and rented cars-with-driver can work out more than flying.

Living in Europe, would it make any economic sense flying to Thailand via Madagascar if I wanted to visit both countries? Or is it better to make separate trips from Europe? Thanks.

Check with Jet Airways -via Mumbai- I think that they are cheaper.

Otherwise, I stayed at Nosy Be several years ago but did not travel around the country.
