Tourist Visa From Dubai Thai Embassy

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has any1 any experience of the Thai Embassy in Dubai, I need to obtain a double entry tourist visa from there next month but have heard that the staff there do not issue them easily. I am on UK passport. Thanks :)

Any new reports about the Thai consulate in Dubai? Their website doesn't have as much info as in Hong Kong or Singapore such as visa requirements. In either case, I'll probably go in the near future and see for myself but in the meantime, any accounts of more recent experiences would be appreciated.

From what I have heard it is better to use the Embassy In Abu Dhabi, rather than the consulate in Dubai.

I went to the Dubai consulate today(Abu Dhabi is too far as I don't have a car). Unlike Singapore or Hong Kong where they just wanted copies of my passport, photos and an application, here they also wanted copies of my plane ticket, hotel reservation and an introduction letter from my company. Based on earlier posts in those links above, after I gather that they still might require more paperwork. So I won't bother getting the tourist visa here. If I want to stay in Thailand longer than 30 days, I'll just go visit Singapore again to get a TV.
