When they first started a few years back, I would see them almost daily. Lately, months can go by without spotting one. I caught one from Jomtien to Pattaya about 3 weeks ago and I was the only passenger.

Too bad they never got their act together -- a comfortable seat and air-con sure beats the Song-Thaews!

Best guess is that it was just another poorly managed Thai boondoggle.

My guess is the Mafia Baht Bus co-op Association made them an offer they couldn’t refuse.

It was a great service while it lasted.

We never really had a chance to find out how well/poorly managed they were, the Baht Bus Mafia put them out of business.
