April 28, 201016 yr if im married to a thai lady and have children and aquire a non imm O marriage visa and work in thailand with a work permit, if i resign or im fired my work permit will be cancelled-- is my visa also cancelled?- what are my options , considering my family and home are in thailand and wouldnt want to leave thailand or return to my home country (UK), would my non imm o visa still be valid or could i just apply for a new one in those last 7 days that some visa types require u to leave the country by. thanks
April 29, 201016 yr Your permission to stay would only be canceled if you were on an "Extension of Stay" based on employment. If you were married to a Thai person, you could continue to stay on entries based on the "O" Visa, or apply for an "Extension of Stay" based on the marriage, and your stay would not be affected by your employment status.
