90 Day Report On Listed Holidays

Featured Replies

I need to do a 90 day report on Monday May 3, I've been told that this is a public holiday in Thailand. Will the immigration office be closed if so should I report on Friday April 30 or Tuesday Apr4 allowing for the weekend. Thanks.

If doing in person you can report +- 7 days so not a problem.

Mine was due 17th April. Did it 23rd, no problem.

You have a 7-day window before and after the date you should report. If you fail to renew during that 2 weeks period (which means 7 days after the due date) you are fined 2,000 on the spot and no excuse accepted (I did try...).

You can also print the form and have someone go on your behalf; that's what I usually do, the hourly costs of our messenger at the office are significantly lower than mine.

I think that you can also fill up the form online, but still have to go by yourself (that saves you the queue time). I think also that it can be done by normal mail (you need to include a self-return pre-stamped envelope) but I never tried that way.

Mon. May 3 (in lieu of Sat. May 1) is a holiday for private sector workers only. Govt. employees have to work on that day.

Also of note: Wed. May 5, Coronation Day, is a holiday for both private and public sector workers.
