Speaking of blunders in the news and what those crazies are continually demonstrating in

their over-extreme behavior, I would not be surprised to read tomorrows headline as:

"Informant Leads Military to Storm KFC in Search of Alleged Red-Shirt Leader, Col. Sanders"

Former member of the Thai Police, Col. Sanders was forced to resign from his post as a member of parliament after appearing on a TV cooking show where he demonstrated his recipe for fried chicken using 11 herbs and spices.

Col. Sanders was implicated in the scandal which saw millions of chickens culled during the bird flu outbreaks of 2004. It is claimed that he ordered his troops to open fire on flocks of chickens containing chicks. More recently he has been linked with gambling dens featuring underground cock fighting.

Red shirt sympathizer Col Sanders has been linked to plans to overthrow the current government by means of a military chicken coup.

Thats my boy,

last not least, a member with homour(Humor).

I like myself to pull some legs, only to be misquoted and banned for 3 days to spread some drivel, nothing wrong with that.

Here some of it.

Now I hear "Red Adair " has changed his name to "Green Adair"

"Red Bull" has been removed from the shelvel as it might contain red's blood,

has been renamed blue angel p...s,

"Red Beer" is;t served anymore in Patpong,

My friend "REd" has dyed his hair gray(his natural colour) is a old fart, going on 38,

The police force has now a new colour for thier cars "Yellow "as in chicken, not the yellow protester's,

The firebrigades have a new colour for their engines, white with a ...dont know

TV Forum rules

And the complete rule 15)

Not to use ThaiVisa.com to post any material which is knowingly or can be reasonably construed as false, inaccurate,

invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.

You also agree not to post negative comments criticizing the legal proceedings or judgments of any Thai court of law.

To be fair these rules get broken from all sides of the questions of the day.

But with the zero tolerance policy in place, best to have the rules in mind.

Hmmm... Somchai the former prime minister's family all dressed in black, reports The Nation....

I'm sure as a relative of Thaksin, he is mouring Thaksin's DEATH!

Until I see Thaksin in a video link talking about current events, I will assume he has DIED.

The Twitters and Facebook postings look and sound so phony to me. Anyway that is not his style....

He is DEAD until I see real evidence otherwise.

BANGKOK: -- The red-shirt protesters at the Lumpini Park refused to remove the bunkers on Rajdamri Road in front of Chulalongkorn Hospital in line with the order of the leaders at the Rajprasong Rally site.

Jatuporn Promphan, a red-shirt leader, announced at the Rajprasong rally site that the leaders sent Suporn Atthawong to remove the bunkers in front of the hospital.

But when Suporn arrived at the Saladaeng Intersection at 11 am, he encountered Maj Gen Khattiya Sawasdiphol, who would not allow the removal.

... now where was that red self-destruct button?

And who is reporting this ? YELLOW MEDIA PROPAGANDA.

How do you KNOW what is being said ?

It looks like last night they decided to rebuild it and thats it. When they want to take it down they will, but not before.

As Suthep has ordered it taken down it appears there is now a chance to make him back his words up, hence leaving it in place now perhaps ?

Now if Team Yellow would not have massive oppressive censorship of the media and internet in Thailand, then we all could watch and listen to Red TV and we would know for sure what was being said, and we would not have to be confused by what YELLOW MEDIA wants us to think they are saying and making up stories of what they are said to have said.

But then, you cannot have massive propaganda in place if you allow media freedom.

So you see why Team Yellow has in place censorship and no media freedom in Thailand presently.

Remember the accusations against Thaksin for being "anti free press".

Abhisit goes down on the record now as being "worse than Thaksin" in terms of actually being in charge whilst implementation of media restrictions and censorship and what appears to be a massive propaganda play.

Please stop being so logical...it's killing me..."everybody knows" (favorite yellow supporting farang phrase) that yellow shirts would never stoop to distorting the truth...every yellow shirts 'knows' what the reds are up to becuise he reads it in the yellow media....

McDonalds get bombed the world over, but usually for different reasons. Probably the most bombed burger place in the world. As long as no people were hurt, I'd applaud every branch in the world getting blown up, and the world would be a healthier place...

I am not a fan of violence. However, reading that McDonalds was bombed put a smile on my face. McDonalds has been poisoning people and animals all over the world for over 50 years now. Respect to whoever did it and I hope they do it to more Mcshits.

That really sounds like the voice and mind of an, -not a fan of violence-. :D

Freedom of speech, freedom of voting and freedom in TH should be upheld in the -Land of the free- !

But the freedom of choosing what I eat shall be taken away? :D

How will you -mrandmrskindbud- feel when my family get hurt in the next attack in a Fast food outlet from flying glass and I ask you about your statement here which encouraged violence! :)

As we have recently seen with the BIB, enforcement cannot be 100% effective for any law/regulation/policy. In the BIB's case, there's probably a selective enforcement depending on their sympathies. :)

It would be fun to spread "information" to the Red leaders where the soldiers are hiding...oh, they're _____________________, Then they send their brigades to check to find the soldiers. Kind of like "Where's Waldo". Wish there was some RED hot line to call Oh, they're on the 9pm Skytrain coming in droves... Oh, they're hiding in Seven-Eleven along Silom; Oh, they're hiding at Luphini Park in one of the duck paddle boats! They're disguised in plain clothes with the protesters!!! (that would confuse them)

Is nothing sacred? What if Kwanchai had another Big Mac attack, he could have been killed. Stop with the bombs we all deserve a break today!

I left the US to get away from things like McDonald's, so I won't be shedding any tears. Too bad, though. Right, this was a Big Mac Attack!

Yellow arches on a red background, work harmoniously to bring us sustenance, I think we could all learn something from that.

Thought you might want to see this photo i took and maybe it would explain the 'attack ' on Macdonalds!

:)

That's the Macdonalds in CP tower, not Silom Center.

Reds don't like CP.

So what does the photo explain??

Do you not think it "strange" that Mc'Ds that the Red Shirt Leaders use is bombed ??????????

Looks very much like a "Yellow" attack, sent to send a warning to Red Shirt Leaders.

It wasn't the same one.

I am not sure the progaganda offensive will work in the long term- Personally, it makes me want to disbelieve everything I hear now-. It reminds me of the Iraqi propaganda during the invasion of Iraq... hospitals... schools...innocent victims...human shields... women and children...concealed weapons...blah blah blah

There was an old 'red' from Bangkok,

Who had the IQ of a rock.

To be a part of the fracas,

He blew up Silom Maccas,

To which fat farang no longer flock.

Panthongtae is a member of PAD,

Who dislikes reds, more than a tad.

Now bored with the airport,

Hunting reds is his new sport,

Even though Thaksin's his dad.

Annoying though I'm sure this protest is for you guys living in BKK, just remember that these guys had their government overthrown by force, a gerrymandered constitution effectively imposed on them, their new government beseiged by paid hirelings (yellow shirts), and their political party banned by the establishment leaning judiciary.

when the deomocratic route is closed off, this kind response is, sadly, fairly inevitable.

Real democracy is sadly impossible in a situation where almost anything and anyone can be bought or bullied into voting one way or another?

I may be cynical but to me it is impossible to believe that Thaksin was not corrupt - he was a millionaire and I dont believe it is possible for anyone to become a millionaire without being corrupt in one way or another. Even if you argue that it is possible then what does it say of anyones moral value that they are prepared to own and spend millions in a country where millions of people are struggling on next to nothing.

There is something that could stop this but we are not allowed to discuss it here

What absolute bullsxxxt

it has nothing to do with the above

Its all about a few thugs would have found them selves in a corner facing a long prison time trying every last thing to change the future

The red shirts are not a political party

Just a heard of sheep following a bunch of goats

Now they've gone too far. What's next on the list - KFC?

I see that Khun Suthep is fed up with the police. For me it's time to transfer the police officers in charge to desk jobs in Nakorn Nowhere and replace them with police who want to serve the people.

hmmmmm and here is me thinking that the Police WERE people. Wow newbie has it together. You try doing their job mate. You think it is the police who makes the decisions on when and where to strike? Hmmmmmmmm. Does the letter L mean anything to you?

Could be - I'm just quoting the MCOT statement as posted in the Live - Saturday thread, and basing my comment on that.

If it is true, and the Princess has gone to Chulalongkorn Hospital, then *that* is something worthy of the word "respect" - infinitely more worthy than some of the left-handed statements to which that word has been applied.

Just my opinion. YMMV.

No, but I would suggest :

Team Yellow army commanders allowed troops to use live ammo on protestors on April 10th, before getting shot themselves.

Team Yellow is likely behind the Silom BTS attack.

Team Yellow is likely behind this McD's attack.

amongst many other things which will not be listed here.

Do you have any evidence to support these beliefs? You are certainly welcome to your beliefs. We all are, but what is your reasoning?

Farang Fool who has no idea of Thai culture

Any Thai who allows outsiders to tell them what to do looses face big time

Has never and will never be done

Thai must solve the problem them selves

Do you have any evidence to support anything different ? I mean you have a government in place who refuse UN Independent Investigations, who control the media, who have censored the opposition internet and media, who control most of the camera's in Bangkok. Where is the "evidence" to not support those beliefs ?

And why does the government refuse to have UN Independent investigations ?

now why didnt they think of doing that long ago. If we had bombed all the MacD's and BK's in the US we would all be much healthier now. Calling that stuff "food" is like saying "The Nation" or "ASTV" report the "news". And i think we now the truth there!

all quite laughable.

This must be a sign of the red shirt terrosts retreat. They will bomb and pilage everything as they leave, leaving no food supplies behind them.

I've been in Kuwait in 91/92,(working),seen the Highway of Death.

Seen Kuwait/Suburbs destroyed by retreating Iraqyis, looting pillaging everything in sight.

Now history repeats itself in Bangkok, only the retreating marauders must be tought a lesson:

reminds me of the US and Allied pilots sayin,"its fun", like shooting fish in a barrel, remember??!!

Solve your problems the legal way and...

never come back;

never do such bad things again;

never kill again;

never approach or enter a hospital in vain, you might end up in the morgue of same

another thing,

since 80-90 % of protesters are from the central and northeast of Thailand, why dont you take your bamboo sticks, slingshots and car/trucktires and make a bonfire and jump into it,Sanuk Lah?

I have'nt seen an Thai/Indian,Chinese/Thai etc among the "Protesters cum Hooligans, because they are decent poeple and respect the law.

Sorry to tell you but a standard has now been set

for the next mob to do

Or they will hit you with DOUBLE STANDARDS

Come on, that's a little unfair at best! We are actually talking about a billionaire (dollar) but there are plenty of those around, some of whom in Thailand are considerably wealthier than Thaksin and they can't all be corrupt (some are simply astute businessmen/women), nor would it be a good idea to make a blanket criticism of all Thais worth more than a billion bucks. Thaksin has a lot to be criticized for, but just for being rich is hardly reasonable.
