Greetings all on TV from Samui Homemade Food. You may remember us as " Big Joes Homemade Foods " Due to legal reasons we can no longer use the name but the food is the same and the prices have actually been reduced :D

As the expats who live here will relate to our website that was due to be finished by the end of last month is still " not quite " finished :D

Mai Pen Rai as they say.

We hope you will bear with us till it is up and running. Till then if you require a price list / menu please PM us here. We will email you one post haste. :)

You can order now by phone or email and we can now arrange delivery to you on Samui the same day or by the ferry the next day to KPG or Tao in a cooler box.

We stock a wide range of some of the best bacon, sausage, spare ribs, pies pasties, English style Indian curries, pates, relishes in Thailand and a great deal more.

We are also looking to expand our range of products over the coming months so look out for our special offers.

We look forward to seeing you all soon at the shop for a complimentary " Big Joe style " cup of tea or coffee when you come to the shop :D

You say "may remember us". Were you a partner in Big Joe's business before his tragic accident then? Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought Joe was a sole trader.

It's always good to hear of price reductions rather than increases, but why are you reducing prices now? Everyone I know who uses Big Joe's think his prices were reasonable anyway?

Yorkie Hi. I was not a partner as such in the business but had invested some money in the business.

The reason the prices have been reduced is Joe put up his prices by 10% at the beginning of the year. He lost around 20% of his regular customers by doing so. We have restructured the business in a way that we can still keep the same quality of food but also offer it at a better price. By doing so we hope to have the customers we lost return again. We are also looking to add some items in the coming weeks and bringing in a delivery service around the island. You can get a price list / menu by email or call into the shop. We still offer the same free tea or coffee Joe used to give when you stop by. Any particular things we do not stock that you would like then please let us know as we are always open to suggestions. :)

Thank you for the clarification.

Good luck for the future, Joe's pies were as good if not better than many you can buy in the UK.
