For example, if the video URL is

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpXo3V5om0s

Post like this:

[youtube]mpXo3V5om0s[/youtube]

You need not post the full URL, just the video ID.

Just testing:

Seems to work. :)

There is a new icon above when you are replying to a topic, right end one called "Insert Media". I pasted the entire YouTube URL including the http:// in it and it works. Simpler then trying to remember using only the end piece of the URL.
