Just wondering - I am due to do my 3 month visa run (non-im B multi-entry) on the 8th July, but have some friends arriving for a few days, and dont really want to have to go all the way to the border.

I was thinking about going to Samui immigration and getting an extension just to give me some extra time. Does anyone know if I can do this on my non-im B, and will it have any affect on me re-newing my work permit

Make your visa run/new work permit before the friends arrive?

If immigration gave you a week extension, (which I am not sure they would), you would most likely have to get a new work permit and then go through the same process a week later; again.
