I recently renewed my car insurance with Viriyah, but they didn't ask for my signature on any forms.

In fact, all they did is drop off some documents with my wife and that was it.

Is this normal? Or is something amiss?

This is quite common for Thailand. They would not have issued the policy without having received payment and the fact that they have issued the policy means it is valid and accepted. I was insured with them during the first year of finance on my car and they were very professional, but quite expensive compared to the competition. I did switch to another company for this year as they were almost 30% cheaper after factoring no-claims and discounts etc.
