Championship Football Playoffs

Featured Replies

I am trying to find a bar that is showing the Championship football playoffs this Saturday (Forest/ Blackpool K.O 18.00 Thai Time). Its not on Multichoice Supersport nor UBC, but it is on 'Live TV'. Any advice would be appreciated. I have tried the 'football forum' but no luck there.

Thanks for your help.

If its not on the systems you mentioned I thank your going to be SOL.

Its on this station. The trouble is I have emailed and phoned them to ask them to give me a list of bars and hotels with this service in Pattaya and it was pretty hopeless. I had to keep giving her specific locations for her to check on her system - then she said Sophon had it - I said it didn't - then the line went dead. I think she had decided I was not worth any more effort :)

Only thing you can do if no TV is to get your local radio station on the computer

google "iraq goals" you can get live streams there and this game will be covered.

Quality is only fair but better than text updates on the BBC.

Thanks jori. A good idea. I have used 'Forest Player' before and they have a 'special playoff' package so I can sign up to this and listen to the radio at least. Usually John McGovern is one of the commentators, so it brings back happy memories of when Forest were in the top flight as well. :)

Nice link, thanks a lot. It looks like I will be listening to Forest Player on the radio and I can pop over to this as well and may even get to see some of the game - even if the quality is poor its better than nothing. Thanks again...

trying to find out also but surely it will be on BBC radio Nottingham as well.

Was thinking more of listening to a local Blackpool local radio, come home Stanley Matthews all is forgiven.

Yes Laceman you are right - but over here that is blocked when there is a sports commentary. The Forest Player is only 5 pounds for the whole of the playoffs and then to August as well - so its no big deal.

Edit: I have just renewed my membership if you are interested and you dont already have it - here is the URl

Can you do that - isn't local BBC radio blocked??

Yep and a nice leather ball with a solid lace to hold the leather together and keep the bladder inside. How did they ever play football with those lumps of leather... :D
