Congratulations on the barcode's promotion.

You've done all you could do. Still, Reds are not leaving. They missed the chance. Please clear Ratchprasong, restore order now and arrest leaders.

I have a lot of respect for him (even if he is controlled by the Bangkok elite :D ). He is definitely one of the good guys. :)

Why didn't you use the tanks yet?

You're in a no-win situation. Police unable to remove the squatters. Army unwilling to do so. Long-term consequences not promising.

How are the Democrats going to be able to campaign in the Northeast and North when they are not allowed in to the villages (sometimes turned away by the police), their candidates are threatened and villagers are intimidated or bribed into supporting Red/PTP candidates?

Sorry things turned out poorly, you did a good job in an impossible situation. Given the chance you probably would have done well for Thailand, shame the rotten apples wouldn't let you.

Perhaps it is time you tried for the British parliament?

Good Luck !

You have a thankless task - just go out and show what a good politician you are and keep doing your best for Thailand.

I would ask, "have you seen the really daft poll that George has just started about you"?

Just think you could have had a lovely cushy job in the private sector courtesy of one of your dad's mates but no......

I'd say congratulations for avoiding more bloodshed and making the decision that leaves neither side completely happy.

(Abhisit must bring us together after all.. :) )

Get a life

Maybe George and Co are getting worried what to do with the Newsclipping section once the Reds leave town? :)

"Congratulations on a job well done."

" Breaking news. Buffalo falls in klong in Kalasin " or " Urgent update. 7-11 in Bandon Khon Kaen have run out of toasted sandwiches" :D

I will tell him, "you are only half way, you have to continue" ... First regroup your suporters under your own banner with your own values, then go to referendum to get the support of the Thai population and get more freedom for implementing your ideas, then go to Elections with your own group....

On that we do agree.

Your the best solution there is for Thailand, I hope you can stay in power. I would have been tougher on the Red Shirts but this is, after all, Thailand. Keep up the good work and stay in power

Stay the course. If you're looking for friends or expecting any appreciation for your efforts, get a dog.

Mark, you should grow a pair. Probably too late now
