June 9, 200521 yr Embassy continues probe into North Koreans HANOI: -- The Thai Embassy in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi was today continuing to investigate the case of seven alleged North Koreans who sought asylum there yesterday. A diplomatic official told reporters that the embassy was trying to determine whether the seven had come directly from North Korea, or whether they had come by way of China. Confirming that embassy personnel were treating the asylum seekers well, the official said that the embassy had asked the South Korean Embassy to provide assistance. A representative of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees is to visit the asylum seekers soon. --TNA 2005-06-09
