lopburi3 Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 Visas itself can never be changed and do not believe they will issue an extension of stay for work on the back of an ED visa. Suspect you will have to leave the country and obtain the visa and then (if eligible) apply for extension of stay. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
monty Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 Normally work permits are not issued to people on an education visa, so you would apply for a work permit, take all your paperwork to an embassy/consulate and get the non immigrant B there.
