Can A 1 Year Multiple Entry Ed Visa Be Converted To A Type B Visa?

Recommended Posts

Visas itself can never be changed and do not believe they will issue an extension of stay for work on the back of an ED visa. Suspect you will have to leave the country and obtain the visa and then (if eligible) apply for extension of stay.

Normally work permits are not issued to people on an education visa, so you would apply for a work permit, take all your paperwork to an embassy/consulate and get the non immigrant B there.

Then when you re-enter Thailand the Labor Department can proceed and issue you with your work permit.
